The knife manufacturer was founded in 1953 by the couple Chazeau and Goyon and is now family-owned by the third generation. The headquarters of the manufactory is located in Thiers – La Monnerie and there they produce exclusively by hand, in 100% French production,

The blade steel used for the F1 knife series consists of X 50 CrMov15 measuring steel, which is drop-forged by hand and has a hardness of 54- 56 HRC is brought. The blade is finely ground using the classic Plicite process and then honed by hand in the final step.
The bolster, which allows the knife-wielding index finger to make a safe and fine cut, is forged in one piece with the continuous tang. The handle scales are made of modern carbon fiber Kevlar composites.
The carbon fiber used for the design of the handle of the F1 collection gives these knives a unique lightness and strength, as well as a modern and stylish look. The handle shells are fixed to the tang with 2 stainless steel rivets and close the bolster tightly.
