The blade steel used, which is drop-forged by hand, is X50CrMoV15 stainless steel with a particularly high carbon content.
The blade hardness achieved is in the range of 55-57 HRC with a very fine granulometry, which ensures the blade has a long-lasting cutting stability.
The hardening process is carried out in three cycles to achieve maximum hardness, toughness and the finest microstructure.
The grinding of the blade is done by hand in three phases to achieve a convex geometry.
The handle material used consists of solid plexiglass in the color rosso, whose curved shape fits the hand very harmoniously adjusts.
The Plexiglas Rosso is pressed seamlessly onto the tang, glued and fixed with 3 brass rivets. Each blade is handcrafted by a coltellier and then stamped with his initials.
