The high-end chrome steel used is of the X50CRMoV15 grade. It is hardened in a high-tech hardening process at about 1060°C and a depth temperature treatment of – 190°C.
The result is 57°HRC hardness which produces a dynamic and extremely sharp cutting edge. The honing and sharpening are done by experienced specialists by hand in the factory in Deizisau, Esslingen.
