The history of the cutler Saladini goes back to the middle of the 19th century century back. Since 1841, the Saladini family has been producing cutlery for the clergy for the first time in the city of Italian knife production.
The Tuscan town of Scarperia, between Florence and Bologna, on the hills of the Apennines, has a tradition in blade manufacture that dates back to the 15th century. This tradition was revived by Leonardo Saladini in 1984 and has been continuously developed to this day.

The blade steel used for the knife series Collezione Cucina consists of X46Cr13 carbon steel. Drop-forged and hardened to 56-57 HRC.
