Kevin Kecskes loves Euro-Asian cuisine. He never lost his soft spot for black pudding and sauerkraut.
Since 2018 Kevin Kecskes has been the head chef for the 5* Hotel Palace of the Kuffler Group in the center of Munich. After all, he celebrates a Euro-Asian kitchen style with down-to-earth influences from his origins.
He is committed to promoting young talent and also surprises with his involvement in his podcast BISSFEST.
Kevin Kecskes and his knife design is shaped by the silhouette of the city of Munich and his creativity for the Mediterranean food. An octopus symbolizing his love for the sea.
We at TYPEMYKNIFE ® are particularly happy for Kevin to have a having created a unique knife design.
The left side of the blade shows the city of Munich with its hotspots and distinctive features.
The right side of the blade is dedicated to an octopus, believed to be intelligent and adaptable. Especially in terms of taste, it goes perfectly with Kevin’s kitchen.
We coordinated the drafts with him according to his ideas and then prepared them for our laser technology in the further process.
The kitchen knife that Kevin Kecskes chose is the finest German chef’s knife art by F. DICK from the 1905 series.
The blade steel is made of X50CR15 stainless steel. Drop-forged and reaches a hardness of 57°HRC.
The knife has a 21 cm long blade and has a Hostaform plastic handle with its characteristic 3rd stainless steel ferrules.
F. Dick kitchen knives (>Video ) from the 1905 series are extremely precise tools optimized for tough use in a professional kitchen.
